Questions before you buy
What counts as a lookup?
One Index lookup request. Adding a medication is usually two to four. We count the request, not keystrokes — wait until they pause typing. Notices we send and Cabinet read/write are not lookups. Meter details.
What happens when the block is gone?
We email at 80%. When the block is gone, auto-buy charges the card you paid with for another month’s lookups at your plan’s rate: the monthly price, or a twelfth of the yearly price on an annual plan. Never a higher rate. Lookups keep working while the charge goes through. Auto-buy is on unless you turn it off under Billing. With it off, or if the card is declined, lookups stop a day after running out (402). Sandbox has no grace day: it stops at 500 a month. 429 is a safety fuse, not a bill.
Monthly vs annual pool
Default is a month from the day you subscribe. If your traffic spikes once a year, buy a yearly pool (pay for ten months) so unused January lookups still exist in October. A July-sized monthly cap will run out in October.
Is Cabinet on the $99 plan?
No. Launch is Index only. Cabinet starts at +$199 / month for 25,000 members, with a BAA.
Can I keep the data?
Index answers are catalog data you requested. Cabinet items are your PHI under the BAA; you can export them. We do not sell a dump of the Index to run on your metal.
